With its roots in Sanskrit,the word “ABHIPRAJNA” means "Towards Greater Knowledge," encapsulating the ultimate purpose of scientific exploration. Paired with Accio Curiosite, which translates to "Summon your Curiosity," the event urges its participants to venture deeper into the pursuit of science.

Since its provenance in 2019, ABHIPRAJNA has been a dynamic platform for curious minds to come together and explore the vast world of science. What began as a coordinated effort to unite brilliant minds has now evolved into an annual tradition, with each edition offering a fresh and unique perspective.

The theme “JOURNEY TO THE DEPTH OF THE OCEAN” focused on marine sciences and conservation. Over 100 teams participated in the online prelims,with six teams qualifying and four attending the mains round offline in IISER Tirupati.

The theme “ATOMS, ALCHEMY, ANNIHILATION” explored the relationship between science and war. Over 150 participants from across the country participated in the online prelims.

Delves into the hidden patterns within seemingly random systems, connecting mathematical sciences with nature, technology, and human behaviour. The theme celebrates the beauty of order within disorder across disciplines.
