-
The Prelims consists of two rounds:

-
A 2-hour break will be provided between both the rounds.
-
The questions will be subjective in nature, designed to be thought-provoking that will test your critical and scientific thinking.
-
For reference you can refer to the previous year questions available on our website: www.abhiprajna.com

Marking Scheme, Timing and Submission Details:
-
Subject Round – Includes questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. (Duration: 3 hours).
-
Theme Round – Features theme based, and interdisciplinary questions integrating all four subjects. (Duration: 1 hour)

Rules & Regulations:
-
Research papers, books, Google, Google scholar etc. are allowed for reference and assistance.
-
Use of AI tools & external software assistance is strictly prohibited.
-
Violation of rules may lead to disqualification at the discretion of the organizers.

Submission & Question Paper Access:
Question Paper Access:
-
For the subject round, the question paper for each subject will be uploaded separately on the official website on the day of the prelims.
-
For the theme round, the question paper will be provided on the website in its specific time slot.
-
Mention the correct Team ID (provided by the organizing committee) in the form. The responses with typological errors in Team ID won’t be considered for correction.

Submission Details:
-
Answer sheets must be submitted in a google form using the form link provided on the website on the day of the event. The google form will have separate submission fields for specific subjects. For e.g. In the field marked as Physics in the form, you will be required to submit your answer sheet pdf containing the physics section answers.
-
Answers can be submitted in PDF format only. Handwritten answers should be legible for corrections. Illegible answers will not be considered for evaluation.
-
Each subject’s answers must be compiled in ONE SINGLE PDF PER SUBJECT (with all the questions of the respective subject) and should be uploaded in the form accordingly.
-
The whole answer for one question must be present in one place on the answer sheet with the question number properly mentioned.
-
Teams with members in different locations must coordinate efficiently, as each question can be submitted only once per team. In case of submission of multiple answers for the same question, NONE OF THEM would be evaluated.
-
Two separate google forms will be provided and embedded on the website (one for subject round and one for the theme round).
-
An additional 15 minutes will be provided for submission after the subject round as well as theme round. This extra time for submission is provided considering unforeseen issues—such as participants being from different locations, technical difficulties, or the need for final compilation. However, this extension applies only to submission and must not be used for answering questions beyond the allotted quiz duration. Any answer sheets submitted after the given time would not be considered for evaluation.

Note: In the case of handwritten submissions, you can use a scanner to generate your answer PDF with clear images. We have attached a link on how to use Adobe scanner app (you may use any scanner according to your convenience).

-
The team has scored 10 or more points in at least three of the four subjects in the subject round.
-
The team has scored 5 points or more in the theme round. The top 5 teams that satisfy these criteria would qualify for the Mains round. Any of these criteria, if not fulfilled by at least 10 teams, the qualification criteria would be relaxed and the top teams will be selected on the basis of absolute marking. The time of the submission of answers will be recorded and used in case of a tie.
